5 Item Upgrade Instructions From The Professionals

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements applied.

The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced by an identical item, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment, for example increasing its damage.

Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack and spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give players additional health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To make them, you require a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next Success is rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they are open, they display a full description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.

In the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on chosen Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer to reroll, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be when being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.

After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements have been fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the longevity of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to get an advantage in battle without putting a strain on their bank accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to an entirely new piece of equipment.

For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are many ways to obtain the stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will gain a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is attained.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be applied to more than one item at once. Additionally each upgrade component will require a certain amount of items to be added in addition to an initial amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left is where players can add a piece of equipment to be upgraded, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will look like when it reaches its next level. Once players have enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each upgrade, the stats of the base item will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum level that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. Once a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Items upgrades enable players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary depending on its type, but you'll typically need Dilithium and the number of Upgrade Tokens.

Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide additional effects or an increase in level of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once  item upgrading  has been inserted into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the item's stats.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Some items benefit from upgrading less for their increased stats, but for the fact that it allows players to get the most value from a flawless roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.

When you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will display an in-game window that lists the necessary requirements. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

Once you've satisfied the conditions for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will update to show how close you are to completing it. You can also track the status of an  item upgrade  by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
